Dear Friends and Partners, Please join us in celebrating the many milestones that Blossom Africa Trust has so far achieved, this year 2014. This is a year of extending our territory. The organisation which started in Malawi in 2006 is now touching lives in Uganda, South Africa, United States, Zimbabwe, Kenya, United Kingdom and many other nations of the world. This is thanks to our ministry to women on the social network Facebook, called Appointed, Anointed & Accomplished Woman (AAAW). Many women have been mentored, counselled and encouraged through this medium, to go for the best that God has for them. The call of Blossom Africa Trust is to empower women to reach their full potential in life, through biblical life-planning knowledge, Christian discipleship, mentorship, life skills, linkages and provision of resources. It is very exciting therefore that our impact has extended to meet spiritual and social needs of women from all walks of lifeOver the years, our activities have included life-planning and business seminars for girls and women in schools, University campuses, churches, communities and other places. We also ran a radio program called “Girl Power” on a national radio station in Malawi when the opportunity was available. We have also partnered with other ministries and organizations whose input and anointing has been invaluable to our work.
Early this year we expanded our presence online with our two new websites, www.blossomafrica.webs.com (mainly for Blossom Africa Trust’s official work in Malawi) and www.blossompowerlife.webs.com (the official page for Appointed, Anointed & Accomplished Woman, our ministry to ladies); please make it a point to visit.
Our mentorship program is now very much formalized. We have developed clear guidelines and we look forward to touching girls and young women in schools, colleges and universities in Malawi and across Africa.
A core group of women were approached to come aboard as mentors, as well as mentees. The unique thing about this is that mentorship for Blossom Africa is now not by coincidence. We now have a strategy to develop women of destiny. We are confident that we will now see more results.
Appointed, Anointed & Accomplished Woman has also helped, in a way, to consolidate our mentorship program. The website www.blossompowerlife.webs.com explains AAAW’s activities in detail.
We now look forward to three conferences to take place in three cities in Malawi: Mzuzu, Lilongwe, and Blantyre in December of this year. We are particularly excited about Mzuzu because it will be our first time there. We believe God will do mighty things. We believe one of the things that God will do in these conferences is to commission some women into positions of influence and to carry on the fire. We believe influence is not just having big title or position. With the power of God anyone can be influential! Some of our best moments have been seeing young ladies who previously had no role models, take in life-planning information from godly women.
We are now in the process of fundraising and inviting volunteers for various roles for the conferences. If you are interested in partnering with us in giving, prayer or volunteering you can call us on +265888569648, +265 999347337 or +256 752047214. The account name is Blossom Africa Trust. Account number is 0046624810448. A receipt and financial report will be given when you give. We thank you in advance for your seed towards the destiny of women in Malawi and around the world. Let me take this opportunity to thank our faithful partners who have always donated generously in cash and kind to this ministry over the years. Thank you for your obedience to God. Your giving is a memorial before him.
Our life-planning seminars and conferences for young women have been life changing over the years. Many women have beaten the odds in life because of imparting received through this ministry. The testimonies are countless. We usually have four sessions covering the following themes: Career and Life-planning, Developing self-esteem, choosing a life partner among others. God always gives us seasoned speakers for our conferences. People who are experienced and gifted in the different subjects. This year we feel led to add leadership and other components because we are widening our target audience. As we pray and seek God, we believe for God to give us unusual grace and favour. We also expect attendance to be multiplied.
This year we are also looking forward to raising, training and releasing new workers and leaders who will take the work of Blossom Africa forward by God’s grace. Immediate future plans include establishing more media presence and establishing our mentorship program in Uganda and South Africa.
We look forward to a gaining more ground for God and seeing changing lives.
God bless you.
